AhiaUlo (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates an online retail store that sells quality everyday essentials directly to customers across Nigeria. We manage your account, your delivery details, and the secure processing of your orders. All payments are handled by Paystack, our licensed payment provider.

We collect only what we need to run your account and fulfil your orders:

• Account details. When you sign up or sign in (email or Google), we receive your name and email address for account management, authentication, order updates, and support.
• Delivery addresses. The name, phone number, and delivery address you provide so we can ship your orders through our courier network.
• Profile details you provide. Optional information such as a saved default address, city, and state to speed up future checkouts.
• Order history. Items purchased, order status, and delivery details so you can track orders and request returns.
• Usage and device data. Basic technical data such as browser type and interaction logs needed for security, reliability, and improving your shopping experience.

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Process and fulfil your orders
• Deliver products to your address through our logistics partner
• Send order, delivery, and security notifications by email
• Manage returns, refunds, and store credit
• Prevent fraud and keep the store secure
• Respond to support requests

All card and bank payments are processed securely by Paystack, a PCI-DSS compliant payment provider. We do notstore, see, or process your full card number or CVV. Your payment details are encrypted and handled entirely within Paystack's secure systems. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded along with the amount paid.

We share information only when necessary to fulfil your order:

• With our logistics partner (GIG Logistics), the name, phone number, and delivery address needed to deliver your parcel.
• With Paystack, the minimum details required to process your payment securely.
• With service providers who help us host, authenticate, email, or secure the service, under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
• For legal and safety reasons, if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our customers and business.

We never sell your personal information to anyone.

We keep your account and order data for as long as your account is active and as needed to fulfil orders, handle returns, resolve disputes, and meet legal and tax obligations. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your personal data, except where we must retain limited records for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including secure connections and restricted access to personal data. Payment data is handled by Paystack and never stored on our servers. No online service is completely secure, so please use a strong password and keep your login details private.

• View your order history and request returns
• Request account deletion through Profile → Privacy & account

AhiaUlo is intended for users who can form a binding contract under applicable Nigerian law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of AhiaUlo after changes means you accept the updated policy.
